Privacy policy

This policy describes the personal information KANTEL collects in the course of its activities, how that information is used, and the rights of the people it concerns.

Information we collect

KANTEL collects the information you send us directly: name, organization, role, email address, telephone number, and the contents of your message when you complete a form or write to us.

In delivering our services, we also handle the technical information needed to operate our clients’ systems: administrative credentials, configuration data, and event and performance logs.

This site sets no advertising cookies and uses no profiling tools for marketing purposes.

Use and disclosure

The information is used to respond to your requests, to prepare and carry out the work entrusted to KANTEL, to support and secure the services, and to meet our legal and contractual obligations.

KANTEL does not sell or rent personal information. It is disclosed only to the members of our staff who need it to carry out their duties, to the platform providers required to deliver the service, and where the law requires it.

Information is kept for as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for, then destroyed or anonymized.

Safeguards and hosting

Access is restricted, logged and reviewed. Traffic to our platforms is encrypted in transit, and sensitive data at rest.

Data belonging to our Canadian clients is hosted in Canada. Any exception is agreed in writing with the client before the service goes live.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information KANTEL holds about you, ask that it be corrected, or withdraw your consent to its use. You may also file a complaint about how it is handled.

Send your request to the privacy officer. We acknowledge receipt and respond within the timeframes set by applicable law.
